Going to give that rapid box a try. I’ve not had a lot of luck with shoot throughs and umbrellas, most the time they are flimsy and cheaply made. You get what you pay for kind of thing. I like how it comes with the deflector plate to make it like a beauty dish.
I missed out on the same Rapid Box deal last month, so I grabbed one yesterday when I saw the same deal being offered. I bought the one without the deflector plate as based on one’s test, just using the wide-angle panel or the Sto-Fen push on diffuser (which I already have) seems to even out the light better. Maybe I’ll get the deflector plate later on if I’m not happy with the results.
