Man I wish Canon and/or Nikon would follow the example Sigma has set with their DC zooms. Fast zooms for APS-C cameras would solve a lot of the low light performance issues the smaller sensor cameras have, a well as give that narrow DOF that you mostly only see on full frame systems. The 17-55mm F2.8 is about all Canon has, and that is a pretty dated lens at this point, though still solid for performance. The 18-35mm and the 50-100mm F1.8 lenses do something that no one else has done, and would be in my kit if they could perform consistently. Too much forward and back focusing. Though at 600 bucks I would think on that 18-35mm. It’s basically three primes in one lens, due to it’s incredible sharpness. Probably the sharpest APS-C lens out there, I just wish there was a Canon lens equal to it for best AF performance. 50-100mm is in the same boat. Neither lens has OS though, keep that in mind. Probably not too much an issue on the 18-35mm, but the 50-100mm is probably pushing that a bit.

That was definitely the lens that stood out for me from this list (I just bought the 24-35). If I wasn’t mainly shooting full frame these days, it would be a no brainer to pick up right now.

Agreed! When it comes to aps-c sensors, nobody does a better job than either Fujifilm XF lenses or Sigma DC series. Most Canikon users either don’t know this or refuse to knowledge is the fact that Sigma, Tamron, Fuji and or Sony have better optics than both Canon and Nikon in majority of the cases. I think it’s time for either one of them to step up the plate and release some newer lenses that can compete with aftermarket brands and Sony/Fuji.

Do normal returns apply going through Cpw for any issues that may occur or do we go through dealer ? Is it the normal 30 days ?
