The Canon Direct Store has added the refurbished EOS-1D X Mark II for the very first time. It is now in-stock for $4799.20. Compare with a regular brand new price of $5999 or our street price of $5499, this is a significant savings.
Refurbished items from Canon USA come with a 1-year Canon USA warranty. Unfortunately, they do collect sales tax for most states, which does eat into the savings.
Now where are the 5D IV Refurbs!
I’ve called canon multiple times regarding the mark 4 with no answers.
We typically see refurbs about 8-15 months after the item is first released brand new. The higher-end the item, the longer it takes, usually. Given the 5D Mark IV was released in September 2016, I really don’t expect to see this released refurbished until at least the holiday season, perhaps not until 2018.
CanonPriceWatch.com I don’t like that answer. 8-). I curious as what happens to 5div’s returned to canon that are not used. I’ve always been told that a lot of the canon refurbs are returns and are hardly used. Wondering if they are just waiting to get enough stock before they put them on their site. I’ve bought two refurbs from canon and they’ve worked great. I guess I need to buy a new one so the refurbs will come out the next week!
All I want for Christmas….
Wonder what the tax would be to australia ???
