We’re told the Canon Direct Store will be starting a refurbished sale tonight: 15%-off Lenses and Speedlites. The sale runs for two weeks, until December 20th.
The catch is: absolutely nothing good is in-stock, having been picked clean during the Thanksgiving week sale. As with previous sales, we do expect one or two great restocks during the sale, but they will sell out within minutes.
This is a good time to remind you about our e-mail notification system, which e-mails you the instant an item is in-stock below your target price (you can choose either brand new, or used/refurbished). We put together a new notification management page where you can see all your active notifications (and manage them from one convenient page).
You can also set notifications on out-of-stock refurbished items from our refurbished stock tracker.
Is there a standard time canon usually restocks or is it just luck of the draw?
It’s pretty random. Usually during business hours.
Perfect timing. I’ll use the $30 in Canon cash I got about a week ago and combine that with the 15% off and pick up a 40mm pancake lens for my father for Christmas. There might not be much good in stock, but the pancake is an excellent lens, especially for around $100.
I did the same thing, figured as a % off the $30 off $135.00 for something I was looking at was a good deal!!
Has Canon been lagging behind on the $30 Canon Cash? I filled out the form on Nov. 23rd and still haven’t received anything from them. Others seem to be experiencing multi-week delays as well.
I’m looking for a speedlite EX430 II
I never got canon cash myself. Filled approx 2-3 weeks ago.
The Canon Store was just restocked (thanks to the e-mail notification). I finally got a chance to get some great discount on the 1.4X extender.
It’s a great deal if you can combine the 15% off, $30 e-cash, free shipping, plus the 5% rebate from Discover Card for online purchases.
What is the $30 Promo code for the refurbished items
