Live Once Again: EOS 70D + PIXMA PRO-100 for $799 AR Adorama

This really hot bundle deal is live again, for the third time:

Adorama has a bundle of the EOS 70D and PIXMA PRO-100 for only $799.00, after a $350 mail-in rebate. You also get free photo paper, a bag, and a 32GB Lexar SD card.

This is a new rebate period so you are eligible for this deal even if you bought a printer last month.

Click here to check out the deal at Adorama. This is the lowest ever price seen on the EOS 70D. This is an incredible deal as the EOS 70D has a MAP price of $1099; even our street price is $939.

(The bundle shows up as a single item in your shopping cart, but includes the camera and the printer. Price before rebate is $1149, then you get a $350 rebate to net $799.)

This is not the lowest price ever as stated. The lowest price was $699 for the exact same bundle on the evening of September 27th. The instant rebate changed from $100 to $200 on Saturday night, they fixed it by increasing the list price so it cancelled out the increased instant rebate. Still a good deal but not the lowest price ever.

True, although that price was only live from 3 AM to 4 AM ET, and I’ve been told it was a price mistake.

Wow, I wonder if CPW can provide a service like “buy it for you” with setting some threshold as the notification:) Nobody can catch this kind of lowest price deal at 3AM-4AM ET.

You’d be surprised the number of times we are asked to do this for the Canon Refurb store sales. We’d gladly do it, but it would be way too risky for us to store everyone’s payment information, not to mention a whole bunch of other logistical concerns…

Sadly, in New York, the sales tax wipes out almost half of the rebate.

Just wanted to share my rebate experience on this great deal. Checking my online rebate status, I saw a week ago an unexpected “program violation” from ‘acbpromotions’ (Canon rebates) …

So I called them, easy process… they told me I needed an itemized bill from Adorama because the provided documents were not showing the price of each item I received.

So I contacted Adorama by email and I got the corrected document by email within less than 48 hours. Very good service from Adorama, as usual.

Then I sent the new bill to ‘abcpromotions’ via email as well. It took also less than 48 hours to process. They answered the email to inform me the rebate was now approved and it would take 3-5 weeks to receive.

I thought maybe this would make people less nervous when something goes wrong with Canon rebates. Sounds like one just needs to be proactive and it takes quite a bit of work too…

Thanks for sharing. It’s always good to know that if there are problems they can be resolved.
