We were sent more details on the new fall rebates (thanks!) and we now have the list of lenses and amounts.
The mail-in rebates begin on Sunday, September 28th, and run until Saturday, October 25th, 2014.
As our street prices are from authorized Canon USA dealers, the rebates stack with our street prices (where available) and result in some tremendous savings.
Here is a link to the rebate form, the rebate poster, and also some instant rebates.

Are there any street prices for the 35 f2 is?
Not at this time, sorry.

I wish I had waited a few weeks to buy my lenses now
Canon rules
Will this work with refurbished lenses?
No. Only from new purchases from Canon authorized dealers.
These rebates are shit! I got a $200 rebate on my 85mm 1.2L earlier this year. Why is it only $50 now? And the 100mm 2.8L is not on the list.
Canon lowered the price on the 85L and 100L by $100 each recently. So the rebates are reduced.
well i understand that and i’m not really here to argue. just venting my frustration. the canon 100L and 85L were and still are overpriced when compared to their nikon counterparts. and now that the 5D line is no longer the top dog they really need to rethink their prices.
Yeah, I’m not trying to defend Canon either, just injecting some insight into why the rebates are low on some items. I find Canon USA pricing to be weird, arbitrary, and defy logic. They seem to know it’s ridiculous, and then undercut themselves via the Canon refurb store (or allow grey market sellers to do so.)
Is there a tax involved when buying street price from one of these authorized dealers?
Kristina, we try our best to match you with a dealer that does not collect tax in your state, and it’s usually possible.
Thanks to this site, I got an awesome deal on the 70d kit with printer for much less than I saw earlier this year. I missed the deal on the lenses and was going to buy the refurbished 50mm 1.8.
Glad I can snag the new lenses.
Keep up the good work.
Thanks Sara, I’m glad you’re enjoying the site!
Give me the Canon f1.2 85mm L any day. Magic bokehs aren’t cheap.
I just bought a 24-70 mark 2 for $2099 at adorama. What can I do to get this price?
