The Canon Direct Store sale on refurbished lenses, speedlites, and EOS bodies just had a limited restock. They’re offering $125 off a purchase of $500, $50 off a purchase of $250. On a $500 item, that is up to 25% off. Add to cart to see the discount.
This sale is best on items that are just over $500 or $250. Many of these items got restocked, but very few copies got restocked — they look to have mostly sold in the first few minutes, thanks to our e-mail notifications.
Some hot items were restocked in quantity, notably the 600EX-RT and 100L Macro.
As usual, check out our refurbished stock tracker to see what’s available, and set notifications to get e-mailed when items are back in-stock.
Nice. Just 1 comment, the stock tracker table seems to just list Refurbished for the item description rather than the fact that it is the 600EX-RT Speedlite. Happily, we used your heads up a few sales back to get our 600EX-RT speedlites.
Thanks. Yes, I will get around to fixing that some day 🙂
😉
On a more serious note, many thanks for helping us get better equipment within a limited budget. (y) (y)
Okay, Scott, you have sufficiently motivated me, I have now fixed this bug. Thanks muchly for bugging me about it. 🙂
Got what I needed this morning. Thanks!
Is buying refurbished as safe as buying new? It’s always a fear of mine, but I definitely want a backup body like the 7D to compliment my 5D3….
The refurbs come with the same 1 year warranty as new equipment.
Scott I’m more worried about the dependability after the one year. I know my 5d3 is a champ. But I guess it’s just “new versus used” fears
Well, my new 60D failed after 2 3/4 years, so rather than send it in for repair, I got a refurb 70D. My 2004 new 300D (1st gen Rebel) failed in 2009. My wife’s 2008 XSi failed in June.
MY experience with electronics in general is they either fail within the first 6-12months or not for years & years. There’s really no predictor. My Garmin Zumo 660 failed & I paid for a refresh on it. The refurb failed within 30days, but it’s replacement works just fine.
want to buy 135L but could not add to the cart. I got an error message.
