Authorized Dealer EOS 6D for $1540, or with BG-E13 for $1599

We know of two great street prices on the full-frame EOS 6D, brand new from authorized Canon dealers.

The EOS 6D body-only is now available for $1540 (compare to $1699 at other authorized dealers).

The EOS 6D + Genuine BG-E13 Battery Grip is available for $1599 (compare with $1699 + $173 = $1872 at other authorized dealers).

Both deals include shipping, and are brand new Canon US warrantied items from authorized dealers. If you’d like to get in touch with us for assistance in obtaining these prices, please fill out the street price contact form on the 6D page.

Our readers have now done many, many street price orders and many can attest to this being a reliable way of getting a brand new item from a reputable authorized dealer. You can read their testimonials and reviews!

These deals are only available for a limited time as many camera stores are closing for religious holidays on Tuesday afternoon. Stores will re-open for a few hours on Friday morning.

Agreed Jess! This seems to be the nature of cameras (especially the 6D…only recently has the older 5D3 begun to see more heavy discounts). The 6D, like many less costly models, begin to get heavily discounted on the winter holiday season following the particular model’s first release, and then again most every holiday period after that. And in the middle of all that, these dealers close for their holiday periods (I have to think there is an intentional strategy here, for adding urgency to an order…to place it before the dealer closes for a week or two). It’s a shame there aren’t more camera and electronics dealers that are as reputable as these, that can also offer such discounted deals. The few in and around the NYC area, have had a hammerlock on catalog, and now online camera sales, for about 3 decades now. (While their dishonest brethren just a few streets away from them, are still perpetually allowed to continue their bait-and-switch, upsell ripoff schemes). Amazon usually offers similar discounts, but not always…and their discounts around the holiday times are known to last very short periods of time, and occur randomly during these times (and many times Amazon’s inventory runs out, so they then source the product directly from either of the two big NYC area catalog dealers). In my opinion, the best deals for saving money, are from Canon USA, but not on “new” product, but rather their “refurb” deals, where they offer an extra discount off the “standard refurb” price. But you have to be willing to settle for a refurb product that comes in a refurb box. And sometimes you have to be ready to place the order within minutes of hearing about it via this wonderful CanonPriceWatch website…if it’s an item that is in high demand. They did have a large number of 6D’s on sale at the refurb section of their website about a month ago; the price was less than $1500, I think. I paid $1760 for mine from one of the two NYC area catalog dealers, in spring 2013, and don’t feel too bad about missing out on these “deals”, because I would have been without the camera for a year if I had waited. I bought a third party battery grip. It works great, so I don’t feel I’m missing out on the Canon model. It might be better, but it’s not 3 times better. It’s not as if the Canon grip is made out of magnesium…both are plastic. If the Canon model grip had more attachment points yet still was only made out of plastic, it would be worth it, but it doesn’t.

I didn’t get a reply to the e-mail I sent, so I can only assume that it has fallen in your spam folder repeatedly, or is getting killed by a filter, or we have the wrong e-mail address for you.

Looking back you had the same problem regarding the group buy e-mails, so it may be an issue with your e-mail…

Thanks for your efforts, but apparently my gmail account is filtering messages. I don’t mean just putting them in a spam folder, but not showing them at all.

Recently had a problem communicating with one of our State Senators and had to resort to my ancient aol account and a fax (really ancient).

Could you resend the info just replace @gmail with @aol.com

          Much appreciated.
