BigValueInc via eBay has the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $2549.00, in an eBay daily deal!
BigValueInc via eBay is not an authorized dealer. Most readers have reported receiving US model bodies, occasionally an import model body. In their last major sale on Black Friday they sold 300 copies of the 5D Mark III for $2445 in 90 minutes, and readers reported receiving US models. US model bodies sold through unauthorized dealers are still eligible for a full year of Canon USA warranty, based on our survey.
buy this now!
My copy bought through the Black Friday sale didn’t have a US warranty card. Is there any way to tell if it is a US version?
What language is the box in? If you get an import model from BVI it would be a Japanese import and the box text is in Japanese.
There are five languages, starting with English. But there’s no Spanish, so I guess it’s probably not the US version?
could be a gray market one: just read comments on that seller on ebay.
Yes. You could get a US model or an imported model (gray market) from this seller. They resell bodies.
Bought one on Black Friday for $2,445. Warranty Card(Canada/US) was included. I guess, I got the US version.
Got it. Hope this one will be a US version.
Looks like the deal has ended.
Indeed it has.
Mine arrived today. Kit with 24-104 lens removed. No warranty card or receipt in the box. Documents are in English.
