BigValueInc via eBay has a new deal on the Canon EOS 6D for $1349.99. This is the lowest price that we’ve seen for this body-only brand new.
Note that BigValueInc via eBay is not an authorized dealer. Their last big 6D sale was on Black Friday; some readers reported receiving US models with warranty cards, where as quite a few also reported receiving non-US models.
Another great deal is the Canon EOS 6D with 24-105 Kit for $1849.99 at BestStopDeals via eBay, which is still live. That one claims to be US-model and thus would be fully eligible for Canon US warranty.
Now I dont feel bad selling my 1 year old 6D for $1200.
What does it mean if it’s an out of country model? Will canon still support it?
We’ve heard (but haven’t confirmed ourselves) that Canon still services non-US models under warranty, as service centers can’t distinguish between US and non-US models. All you need to provide is a dated receipt showing you’re in the warranty period.
We actually confirmed this (based on a poll/survey we did) for US-models sold by non-authorized dealers, but have not confirmed it with non-US models sold by non-authorized dealers.
