Don’t miss this opportunity — B&H Photo Video has the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II for $1899.00 (after a $300 mail-in rebate). This is the cheapest price that we’ve ever seen for this lens.
You see a discounted price of $2199 during checkout. After a $300 mail-in rebate (which our readers report takes less than 3 weeks), and $88 in B&H rewards, your net is $1811.
These deals come rarely, perhaps once a year — this is the right time to buy. See our price history graph below. In the very unlikely event that prices do drop further within 30 days, B&H will price adjust. This covers you past Black Friday and half of December.

I think this is the one many of us were waiting for. Thanks!
it shows $2199 after check out, how do you get to $1899?
There is a $300 mail-in rebate from Canon.
Looks like they already consider the rebate in their price, no?
No. People have already gotten their rebates from other similar double-dip deals on other lenses, from B&H, Adorama, Amazon, Best Buy, and more.

for my ‘heavy into photography’ friends
Wish I could swing it. Beautiful lens.
Who wants to buy my sigma 70 200 f2.8 OS so I can buy this lens? 1000$

Discover card currently have 5% cash back. 5%*2199 = 109.95 saving, and also 4% back from BH on 2199. so this lens can be about $1,700 after all the saving.
Keep in mind that Discover only rebates 5% up to $1500 for the entire quarter, which means a maximum of $75. Beyond that it’s only 1%. So, you are only really getting 2199-1500=$699 at 1% cash back. $75 + $7 = $82 cash back when all is said and done.
