The Lee Filter Holder has two slots for two 100mm (4") wide x 2mm thick filters. It can also hold 4x6" (100 x 150mm, 2mm thick) filters. Neural Density filters have several uses and offer the possibility to achieve otherwise unachievable results. They enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting color balance. ND filters appear gray and reduce the amount of light reaching the film.
