On the dial, the shutter speed settings increased in two-fold increments, making it easy to use. The base of the film advance knob also had a reminder for the film's number of obtainable exposures. The IV-series peaked with the IV Sb and IV Sb2. It was during Canon Camera's golden age. Along with the Nikon S, these two cameras demonstrated Japan's prowess in camera technology.
