Today’s eBay Daily Deal is from BigValueInc via eBay, they have the Canon EOS-1D X for $4799.99. This ties for the lowest price we’ve seen on a brand new (import) EOS 1D-X.

BigValueInc is a reputable unauthorized dealer who has been a source of reliable deals over the last few years. They have a 99.3% feedback score on high-value Canon items. This is an import version (physically identical to the US model, but not intended for the US market). A Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed, so the store provides a warranty instead.

Please note this is an import version, a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed, so the store is providing a store 1-year warranty instead. They are a reputable unauthorized dealer with 99.1% positive feedback on high-value Canon items and a perfect track record on the 1D X.

AllNewShop via eBay has the Canon EOS-1D X for $4999.99. This ties the absolute lowest price we’ve seen for a new EOS-1D X. This is part of the on-going eBay Super Frenzy.

Note, AllNewShop via eBay is not an authorized dealer, but a reliable unauthorized dealer. In eBay deals over the last month, they’ve sold over 400 5D Mark IIIs and 50 1D-X through their eBay store (or their sister-store GetItDigital). They clearly state that this is an import model, which is physically identical to the USA model. Although Canon USA has been traditionally lenient in providing warranty service, a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed. A three-year extended warranty is provided by the store.

The only two reader issues we’ve heard of in the last two months were: a case of someone being shipped the wrong item, and one defective item — both returns were handled cleanly by the store without issue. Even though this is a large purchase we think it can be a safe one if done with the triple-protection of eBay, PayPal, and credit card.
