As for refurbished lens restocks? This sale doesn’t end until August 16th. We are expecting one, maybe even two good restocks during this time. If the past is any indication, the restock will likely be in the afternoon (ET). As items will generally sell out within minutes (it’s quite impressive to watch), the absolutely best way to get in on a restock is via e-mail notification on a specific item. Last night, Canon moved from an instant-rebate to a mail-in rebate on certain items. Most retailers have adjusted their prices upwards to mark the ending of the instant rebate, but several eBay stores are a bit tardy in doing so.
UPDATE: As expected, some of the prices have been corrected. Some remain.
There’s a very brief window where you may be able to double-dip the rebate; as long as your invoice date is July 6th, 2014, you will be eligible for the mail-in rebate (on top of an instant rebate price). Yes, purchases at authorized dealers’ eBay stores are eligible for the rebate as the dealer will issue a normal receipt. These prices will likely be corrected later today. Find the rebate form here.
