UPDATE 2: There’s been some discussion on whether or not this is US model or import. We called BigValueInc and they did say this 6D deal includes import bodies (they didn’t say how many). For import bodies, they suggest trying to get warranty service first with Canon (Canon USA has a history of servicing anything provided you show a dated receipt); failing that, BVI would provide a store warranty of 90-days.

This is the absolute cheapest price we’ve seen the lens-only from an authorized retailer — a $400 price drop. (Even the unauthorized dealers are only selling for slightly below this, and they sell split kits!)
