7D Mark II Now on eBay (Authorized Dealer), and Two Bundle Deals

The arrival of the Canon EOS 7D Mark II is imminent, as we now see eBay listings from authorized dealers for it, including authorized dealer Profeel via eBay. They have a price of $1799.00 and indicate that it will ship on October 30th.

UPDATE: CPW readers will get a free overnight shipping upgrade. Select free ground shipping, then write “CPW” in the comments.

There are also two great bundle deals to consider.

BuyDig has a bundle of the EOS 7D Mark II with 18-135mm Kit and PIXMA PRO-100 for $1999.99, after a $350 mail-in rebate. To get this deal, first add the 7D Mark II to your cart, then add the PIXMA PRO-100 printer. You see a price of $2349 at checkout, then get a $350 rebate to net $1999. UPDATE: This is now expired.

Finally, the best bundle deal for the 7D Mark II is completely expiring tomorrow (Wednesday) evening. Camera Canada, a reputable Canadian authorized Canon dealer, has the EOS 7D Mark II and EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM for $2298 Canadian Dollars + $29 shipping (approximately $2095.00 US dollars, given current exchange rates). The deadline to order it for launch day has passed (it was last Tuesday). You can still order the bundle up to midnight on October 29th, but it won’t ship on launch day, October 30th. You do not need a Canadian address to participate in this deal.

New and Increased Canon Mail-in Rebates Tomorrow! $800 off 1DX

Canon will start a new mail-in rebate tomorrow, October 26th.

This looks to be a really exciting rebate. We see a rebate on the EOS-1D X for the first time; all bodies and lenses currently on rebate had their rebates extended; 10 lenses were added (including the new EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM), and 11 lenses saw their rebate values increased. This is the rebate we’ve all been waiting for!

Our street prices are from authorized Canon dealers, and are fully eligible for the mail-in rebate.

This rebate is valid for purchases at authorized Canon USA dealers. This rebate runs until November 22nd. (Thanks to Alan for the info!)

UPDATE: Here is the rebate form.

Street Price Special: 5D Mark III + BG-E11 $2799, +24-105mm $3399

This street price special is back and even better: a EOS 5D Mark III + a genuine Canon BG-E11 battery grip for only $2799 (after all applicable rebates), from an authorized dealer with full 1-year Canon USA warranty. No tax to all states, and free standard shipping.

There is also a similar deal on the EOS 5D Mark III + 24-105mm f/4L IS with Canon BG-E11 battery grip for only $3399 (after all applicable rebates).

The grip deal is very hot, because it’s only $100 more than the already fantastic $2699 body-only street price (after the $200 MIR). The BG-E11 battery grip goes for $275 at other authorized dealers.

If you are interested you can fill out the 5D Mark III street price contact form, or the EOS 5D Mark III + 24-105mm f/4L IS street price contact form, depending on which you’re interested in. Please note in the comments that you’re interested in the grip deal.

New Rebates Starting Sunday include “Huge Rebate” on EOS-1D X

One of our reliable sources read our prediction post and let us know that a new mail-in rebate period is indeed starting on Sunday, October 26th, and it includes a “huge rebate” on the EOS-1D X. The street price from authorized dealers is currently $6099 vs. a MAP of $6799, and we’re looking forward to seeing how big this rebate is. This is the first time we’ve seen a significant discount on a 1-series body.

We’re also told that the rebate list is “much broader” with more lenses, and in some cases, increased lens rebate amounts. We’ll post more once we can get a hold of the rebate list and amounts. Please contact us if you have any info.

CanonPriceWatch’s Holiday Predictions, Part 1: Authorized Dealers

Holidays are quickly approaching, and the most commonly asked question is: what will the prices be? We’re going to be writing a series of posts over the coming weeks with some Canon Holiday price predictions. In this first post, we’ll tackle some predictions on authorized dealer pricing. In future posts, we’ll write about predictions on import prices from unauthorized dealers, and also on refurbished prices. (If you still are confused about the differences, please read our article on the topic.)

Please take our predictions with a grain of salt. These are predictions only, and there are many factors that can cause the landscape to change over the next months (Canon itself is the major factor, and there are many factors outside of Canon’s control).
