More info is now available on the Amazon Prime Day, including a partial list of the Canon-related photography items that will be featured. See below for a list of some of the items we’re expecting to see go on sale, and the time we expect them to be featured (in Eastern timezone.)

As expected we do not see any Canon items on the list — they are likely still restricted by the Canon Minimum Advertised Price policy. There may be good deals on accessories, bags, and third-party lenses (such as Rokinon.) We hope there are a lot more than this list, as so far it’s looking quite sparse.

As the deals are restricted to Amazon Prime members only, so now would be a good time to sign-up for a free 30-day trial of Prime if you haven’t yet already.

The T6s is the first Canon Rebel series camera to feature an LCD top-panel, which is very convenient for checking and setting adjustments (without having to use the back LCD or viewfinder.) Compare with $849 body-only or $1149 with kit lens at other authorized dealers.
