April 3rd marked the beginning of a new Canon USA rebate period. The following instant rebate and mail-in rebate changes occurred, just now:

• The instant rebate was renewed on the majority, but not all, of the lenses. As previously reported, several lenses have gone up in price. This new instant rebate lasts three weeks and expires on April 23rd, 2016, unless renewed.

• The mail-in rebate on printer bundles was renewed. The new mail-in rebate expires on April 30th, and is a new promotion id (you are eligible again, even if you participated in a previous rebate.)

• The fantastic lens-combo mail-in rebate program is still active. Many lenses are still eligible for “triple-stacked” discount. Please see the full post for the updated prices, in light of the instant rebate changes.

Our usual reliable sources have indicated that several Canon lenses will be going up in price after the current instant rebates end on April 2nd. These lenses are currently available for the “triple-stacked” discount. After April 2nd the instant rebate component will expire, and the net price will increase.

• $25 Rebate on EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM: current MAP price of $524 AR
• $100 Rebate on EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM: current street price of $649 AR
