Canon’s current instant rebate program ended last night with no renewal. As a result we saw a massive price increase — up to $300 on lenses and up to $500 on bodies — including a $400 increase on both the 5D Mark IV and 6D Mark II.
Many stores are closed for the next week, which makes good timing for this price increase. Once the stores re-open, we expect that the instant rebates will come back gradually, in a build-up to the Black Friday sales.
