For the first time, Adorama is now giving a hard date on the EOS R5 — their preorder page indicates that the camera is expected to arrive by October 20th. We assume this applies to new orders placed today.
We’ve heard that dealers are receiving a shipment of EOS R5 (for existing pre-orders) by the end of the month.
Today’s B&H DealZone (one-day deal) features discounts on Lexar Professional 3500x CFast 2.0 memory cards. Four different sizes of cards are discounted, up to $200 off regular price.
Another quantity of the RF 100-500mm F4-7.1L IS USM is in-stock, at both Adorama and the Canon Direct Store. A limited quantity is available (for example, the Canon Store is showing 13, at time of post).

It looks like the shortage of Canon EF-EOS R Mount Adapters may soon be over — two dealers are now showing very specific shipment dates for new stock of this adapter.
Amazon is showing that the adapter will be in stock on October 6th. Adorama is indicating that the adapters are expected to arrive by September 25th. A backorder placed at either store should reserve an adapter in this next shipment.
If you need one sooner, this 3rd party adapter via Amazon is $54 and has great reviews. Resellers are asking for $160 via eBay for the original adapter.
