We’ve had some time to explore this year’s 5DayDeal Photography Bundle 2026<\/a>. Once again, it is an impressive collection of photography resources, available from just $98<\/a>. There is always plenty of broadly useful material in these bundles, but this year we went looking for something less familiar. Photography is one of those subjects where you can never really stop learning: a new way of seeing, composing, or even placing yourself in front of the camera. These are the three unusual courses that caught our attention.<\/p>\n

\"Self-Portraits:<\/a>Self-Portraits: An Inspired Immersive<\/strong> by Jonny Edward Creative Academy (included in the Complete Charity Bundle) is not about phone selfies or posing in front of a convenient mirror. It approaches self-portraiture as a deliberate studio practice, with the photographer acting as artist and subject at the same time.<\/p>\n

Edward works through intentions, reflections and distortions, movement, color, and post-processing. Photographing yourself removes the usual separation between photographer and subject, while also teaching what it feels like to be directed from the other side of the camera.<\/p>\n

\"Extreme<\/a>Extreme Panoramic Landscapes<\/strong> by Alex Wides Photography (included in the Pro Bundle) takes the opposite approach: instead of turning the camera inward, it tries to capture almost everything around it. Wides specializes in exceptionally wide 180-degree and 360-degree landscapes.<\/p>\n

This is much more than a quick lesson on stitching frames. The course covers when and where panoramas work, planning, equipment, shooting bracketed sequences, RAW development, PTGui stitching, and a substantial Photoshop workflow including warp and distortion correction, dodging and burning, color, export, and storage.<\/p>\n

\"Picture<\/a>Picture Perfect Printing<\/strong> by Matt Suess (also included in the Pro Bundle) explores a final outcome of photography that many experienced enthusiasts have overlooked: making a beautiful physical print. Most of us view thousands of photographs on screens, but printing is a separate technical and artistic discipline.<\/p>\n

The course includes 50 videos and approximately six hours of instruction, covering monitor calibration, color management and ICC profiles, paper selection, resolution, resizing and sharpening, soft proofing, home printers, and professional labs.<\/p>\n

These three courses are quite different, but that is exactly why they stood out. One asks you to become your own subject, another expands the scene, and the third finishes the photograph into a physical print. They are good examples of how much unexplored territory remains in photography, even after years behind a camera.<\/p>\n
