The second phase of “reciprocal tariffs”<\/a> came into effect at midnight, earlier today, and the tariff rate on goods from Japan (including most Canon cameras and lenses) is now 24%. Consumer prices have not yet changed. It’s suspected that the first opportunity for a price change will be on April 20th, at the end of the current Canon instant savings period.<\/p>\n

Canon is currently discounting an assortment of popular RF cameras and lenses by up to $300 with “instant savings” that you can see active at Canon USA authorized dealers, until April 20th.<\/p>\n

Please note that some dealers will start their Passover holiday on Friday, April 11th, and re-open on April 20th. If you wish to order in the current instant rebate period at these dealers (such as B&H<\/a> and Adorama<\/a>) please do so before Friday.<\/b><\/p>\n
