{"id":4303,"date":"2014-07-04T11:50:40","date_gmt":"2014-07-04T15:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.canonpricewatch.com\/blog\/?p=4303"},"modified":"2014-07-04T11:58:19","modified_gmt":"2014-07-04T15:58:19","slug":"more-details-about-the-new-canon-mail-in-rebate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.cpricewatch.com\/blog\/2014\/07\/more-details-about-the-new-canon-mail-in-rebate\/","title":{"rendered":"More Details about the New Canon Mail-in Rebate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve been told a few more details about the new Canon mail-in rebate, to begin on Sunday, July 6th, replacing the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canonpricewatch.com\/blog\/2014\/04\/new-canon-mail-in-rebate-on-5d-iii-and-lenses-april-27th-july-5th\/\">currently available rebates<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>41 lenses with mail-in rebates available.<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation that most lenses have had their rebates reduced by $50 or $100, so effectively a price increase.<\/li>\n<li>Most current instant rebates have been unfortunately converted to mail-in rebates. This includes a $200 rebate (currently instant) on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canonpricewatch.com\/product\/04039\/Canon-EOS-6D-price.html\">EOS 6D<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canonpricewatch.com\/product\/03868\/Canon-EOS-5D-Mark-III-price.html\">5D Mark III<\/a> will keep its $200 mail-in rebate for four more weeks.<\/li>\n<li>The PIXMA PRO printer rebates (which expired on June 30th) will be back. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canonpricewatch.com\/product\/03868\/Canon-EOS-5D-Mark-III-price.html\">5D Mark III<\/a> is an eligible body once again for getting the $400 combination rebate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Orders placed on or before July 5th will still be eligible for the current (and larger) mail-in rebates.
