We’ve been huge fans of the B&H PayBoo card<\/a>, which offers an instant credit equal to the sales tax on a B&H purchase (effectively saving you the sales tax). This is one of the best credit card deals available. Unfortunately, if you try now to apply for the PayBoo card, you’ll be greeted by a message that B&H is no longer accepting applications for the card<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We’ve been told that this situation is temporary and that a “new and improved” Payboo Card will launch in mid-January. According to a recent email communication, “the \u2018new\u2019 Payboo\u00ae Card will provide the same \u201cSave the Tax\u201d instant benefit you currently receive plus, based on customer feedback, we are adding the option to choose promotional financing for most transactions (cardholders will be able to choose either the \u201cSave the Tax\u201d benefit or the promotional financing, but not both).”<\/i> This is great news for those who reside in low-tax or no-tax states as now you can benefit from a promotional financing offer.<\/p>\n

It appears that the card will be issued by a different bank, necessitating a new credit card application — a minor inconvenience. Existing PayBoo cardholders can continue to use their card until January 17th, and we expect B&H<\/a> to launch the new card shortly thereafter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
