Most items did not change in price, but several of the popular high-end L lenses went up significantly (anywhere from 13%-18%). On average, lenses are 3.8% more expensive than they were last month. The following graph tracks the &#8220;EOS Lens Price Index&#8221;, which reflects the average trend in new lens pricing at authorized dealers:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.canonpricewatch.com\/images\/lens_prices_2012_2013_september.png\" width=\"720\" height=\"183\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Some of the largest price increases included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"\/product\/00209\/Canon-EF-70-200mm-f4L-IS-USM-price.html\">EF 70-200mm f\/4L IS USM<\/a> went from $1149 to $1349<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/product\/03306\/Canon-EF-70-300mm-f4-5.6L-IS-USM-price.html\">EF 70-300mm f\/4-5.6L IS USM<\/a> went from $1399 to $1599<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/product\/00008\/Canon-EF-85mm-f1.2L-II-USM-price.html\">EF 85mm f\/1.2L II USM<\/a> went from $1899 to $2199<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/product\/00031\/Canon-EF-17-40mm-f4L-USM-price.html\">EF 17-40mm f\/4L USM<\/a> went from $739 to $839<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/product\/00592\/Canon-EF-50mm-f1.2L-USM-price.html\">EF 50mm f\/1.2L USM<\/a> went from $1439 to $1619<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can see the full list of increases on our <a href=\"\/prices\/\">Canon price list<\/a>.
