Canon’s current instant rebate program<\/a> ended last night with no renewal. As a result we saw a massive price increase — up to $300 on lenses and up to $500 on bodies — including a $400 increase on both the 5D Mark IV and 6D Mark II.<\/p>\n

Many stores are closed for the next week, which makes good timing for this price increase. Once the stores re-open, we expect that the instant rebates will come back gradually, in a build-up to the Black Friday sales.<\/p>\n
