We’re coming up to Amazon’s second annual “Prime Day”<\/a>, on Tuesday July 12th. “Prime Day” is Amazon’s one-day shopping event, which they claim to have “more deals than Black Friday”. Access to the deals is restricted to Amazon Prime members only<\/a>. As usual, CanonPriceWatch will be watching the deals.<\/p>\n

Don’t expect deals on Canon cameras or lenses on Prime Day. Canon items are restricted by a MAP year-round and Prime Day is no exception. You can browse our summary of last year’s deals<\/a> for examples, but we expect to see great prices on memory cards, filters, bags, Rokinon lenses, color calibration, studio equipment, and perhaps a Sigma lens or two. Deals sell out quickly, so be prepared to jump on them (or waitlist if you miss out.)<\/p>\n
