This is the lowest price we&#8217;ve seen yet from an authorized dealer for this lens. Of note, this is below our street price of $779. <a href=\"\/go\/Amazon\/Art-35mm-f1.4-DG-HSM-for-Canon\/p=4130&#038;m=20\">Amazon<\/a> is an authorized Sigma USA dealer.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re surprised to see a public price drop for this lens, which is supposedly under MAP pricing control. We can&#8217;t help but wonder if this is related to <a href=\"http:\/\/petapixel.com\/2015\/08\/25\/canon-35mm-f1-4l-ii-photo-and-specs-leaked\/\">recent leaked photos of the new 35mm f\/1.4 II<\/a>, but the new Canon lens would likely end up costing much more (maybe double?).
