We’ve been receiving great feedback on our street prices feature. We’re happy that many readers have gotten good deals! We’re very excited to announce we’ve expanded our coverage — we are now tracking the street prices of 30 popular cameras and lenses.

Many of the current deals do expire when the mail-in rebate expires in 2 weeks.

Be one of the first to receive this newly announced lens in the US! Authorized Canon dealer Profeel via eBay has let us know they have a very limited quantity of the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM available to ship tomorrow, Friday, June 20th. The price is $1199.00 (as with all authorized dealers).

We are told that anyone who orders and pays before Friday at 1:00 PM ET will have their order shipped on Friday. Free shipping; upgrades for faster shipping are also available. Profeel is one of the first US stores to receive this new lens!

If you don’t want to use eBay there other transaction options available, please contact us for details. A reminder that Profeel is a reputable authorized Canon dealer and this is US model with US warranty. They only charge tax to NY state.

It looks like stock at other dealers will be coming soon as well, within days or weeks!

UPDATE: When is it available at other dealers?

  • B&H’s site now has an availability date of June 24th! All pre-orders will be shipped at that time.
  • Amazon still says June 30th
  • Adorama still just says “June 2014”

These two deals are back: Get It Digital via eBay has the Canon EOS-1D X for $5099.99, and the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $2574.99.

As usual these items are likely imports. Although Canon USA has been traditionally lenient in providing warranty service, a Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed. An equivalent warranty is provided by the store itself.

Get It Digital is not an authorized dealer, but a reliable unauthorized dealer. In eBay deals over the last month, they’ve sold over 400 5D Mark IIIs and 50 1D-X through their eBay store (or their sister-store AllNewShop).

The only two reader issues we’ve heard were a case of someone being shipped the wrong item, and one defective item — both returns were handled cleanly by the store without issue.

If you’d prefer a US model from an authorized dealer with full US warranty, please consider our street prices of $6200 for the 1D X and $2750 for the 5D Mark III.
