Today’s B&H DealZone (one-day deal) is a pretty nifty invention: the Sensei Squiggle Re-Writable Rear Lens Cap for Canon for only $6.99. Regular price is $12 and this is almost half-off.
This rear lens cap (for Canon lenses) features a built-in whiteboard surface so you can label your lenses for easy identification in your camera bag. Simply write on the whiteboard with a dry-erase marker, wipe clean and re-use as necessary.
This deal is today only or until sold out.
What’s wrong with stickers or paint markers like we’ve been using for decades? 😉
Nothing wing.
I understand a great deal of lenses are similar but personally I’ve never had an issue identifying any of them quickly. No need for these.
I use gaffer tape and a metallic sharpie or print some labels with the Dymo machine.
Maybe someday I will have so many lenses that I would need something like this, but for now I think the 4 lenses I carry in my bag are easily identified on their own.
Considering the dust that a dry erase marker makes when the ink gets rubbed off, these are the last things I’d want near my lenses.
Just look!…Please don’t tell me you’re changing lenses so fast you don’t have time. That’s ricockulous.
